I have always strenuously supported the right of every man to his own opinion, however different that opinion might be to mine. He who denies to another this right, makes a slave of himself to his present opinion, because he precludes himself the right of changing it.

Thomas Paine
About This Quote

If you believe in something, why wouldn’t you want to share it with others? The length of time I’ve thought about the things I think are important is very short. It takes only a small amount of time for me to realize that these thoughts are worth sharing with others. If I had all the time in the world to think about what I’m thinking, I would never get anything done. It takes me only a few seconds to figure out that if I share my thoughts with people, they will change their minds.

That’s why everyone should have the right to their own opinion. If you don’t want to hear what people are saying, change your mind.
